Permian Copper Basin
Made for gathering, creating, and everyday living. Sertodo’s hammered copper basin brings warmth and character to presentation and specialized cooking, from jam and carnitas to polenta. Use it to chill drinks on ice, or explore other household uses in keeping with Sertodo’s guidance. Formed from a single piece of heavy-gauge copper, it brings purposeful beauty to a thoughtfully kept home.
A traditional cooking vessel used in cultures around the world for centuries, some variation of this basin has been in continuous production in Sertodo's region since the arrival of the Spanish to Mexico. Sertodo began selling these basins out of the back of a truck more than twenty years ago, and reports that those first pieces are still in use today. A long tradition of usefulness, carried into the everyday.
